What's new with Ruthie?

Ruthie is almost 18 months old this month. She has changed so much since her first birthday. It's hard to believe 6 month has gone by and it will be just 6 more before she is 2 years old. Ruthie is not talking all that clear yet, but she says mommy very well. Up until last week she was using mommy for everyone and everything she wanted. This week, what she wants has changed to "me, me" and now I am mommy or mom or momma. Although my mom is also mommy and sometimes daddy is mommy too.
These are Ruthie's words that she uses everyday:
Ice (which means water or ice in her cup)
Hot (she whispers "Hot, Hot"- she knows the stove is hot, the temperature outside is hot, and her food is hot)
Hi
Eye
Mommy
Daddy
Gauggie (Doggy)
Uh Oh

Today she copied me and said cheese, ride, and book. She also will mimic "thank you", "hear you go", and "let's go". She just started shaking her head yes. You can ask her pretty much anything and she will say yes and shake her head. It is so cute. She hasn't said "no" yet. This last weekend I taught her to put up one finger when I ask, "Ruthie, how old are you?"

Ruthie can point to her eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair, belly button, hands, feet, toes when asked. She still loves to eat, and is a good eater. She eats anything we give her, even veggies like cooked spinach. She loves zucchini. She is becoming more partial to certain foods like breads and cereal.

Ruthie loves to play outside. She plays in the planters, taking out dirt and making little piles on the planter caps. She loves the hose. She waters plants, gives the dogs a drink and soaks herself. We have a pool set up, and she loves to "go swimming". The water comes up to her chest and she walks around holding onto the side or my hands. She never wants to get out.
