What's Ruthie up to these days?

Ruthie is saying "Hi", and "All done". "Hi" is very clear, "All done" and "Thank you" are tones. She says hi to everyone she meets.

She has always been feisty, but she is really developing an attitude lately. She falls on the floor and buries her face when she can't have her way. Where does she learn that? We are definitely born with a sinful nature I'll tell you that. It has become more difficult lately because I think she is understanding more, but frustrated that she can't communicate. It's definitely a challenge. It's hard to decide how to discipline a 14 month old.

She has become fascinated with her belly and belly button. She is constantly lifting her shirt up to squeeze her belly and poke at her button. She likes to look for mommy and daddy's button too.

She recently started spinning in circles. She get a big bashful smile on her face when she spins. It is so cute.

She loves shoes. She is always picking up everyone's shoes. She goes to the basket by the front door and takes out the shoes. Which I tell her is dirty. She brings me my shoes and drops them at my feet. She brings me her shoes and taps them on her foot to tell me to put them on. I just bought her light pink maryjane crocs. She picks them up and goes to the slider and says uh, uh! She wants to go outside and play.

She has always been a great eater. She has always eaten anything I gave her up to this point. Now she is spitting out some veggies. So sad. She loves her meat and cheese though. She is good with fruit unless it is too sour.

Ruthie loves to explore the back yard. She picks up rocks, oranges and leaves. She has a little car that she loves to be pushed around in. She is so content outside. She gets mad when it's time to go inside.

Bear is still a favorite toy, but her glow-worm is a new fav too. When she wakes up in the morning that's the first thing we hear. She still loves to watch her Baby Einstein DVD or God Made Me DVD. She doesn't care for any cartoons on TV yet. Which is fine with me.
